Ferries from Newhaven to France
Newhaven is one of the smaller ferry ports serving France and currently offers just a single route: Newhaven-Dieppe. While that may seem limiting, Dieppe is well placed for travellers heading to Normandy, Paris and parts of western France. If you are looking for the widest choice of routes, Portsmouth or Dover may be better options. However, having just one route also makes planning straightforward.

Ferry services from Newhaven to France

- Newhaven is one of the few UK ferry ports with a railway station within walking distance of the terminal, making it particularly attractive for foot passengers travelling from London.
By car
Newhaven works best for travellers heading to northern and western France. Arriving in Dieppe places you directly in Normandy and avoids some of the traffic around Calais.
